PSO Bluebills participates in or sponsors fundraising and donation events for several non-profit organizations. We have long-standing commitments to OlyCAP and Dove House.
OlyCAP
Olympic Community Action Partnership (OlyCAP) is a nonprofit organization dedicated to serving individuals and families across Clallam and Jefferson Counties.
In addition to participating in OlyCAP’s Programs like the Christmas Gift Drive, Bluebills collects donatable goods for new apartment dwellers for OlyCAP year-round. The currently needed items are listed in the Bluebills Flyer.
Dove House
Dove House Advocacy Services is a registered provider of emergency domestic violence shelter and advocacy, and trauma informed services for victims of domestic violence, sexual assault, and other types of crime. Dove House is also the only Crime Victim Service center in Jefferson County.
In addition to collecting goods for Dove House, PSO Bluebills sponsors the annual Dove House Golf Tournament.
Dove House Golf Tournament
PSO Bluebills sponsors the Dove House Golf Tournament, which is hosted every year at the Port Ludlow Golf Course. This event originated with a proposal by Bluebill leadership in 2012, who approached Dove House Leadership with the idea to put on a golf tournament to raise funds for The Dove House.
The first year they raised $6,500. In the past 12 years we have raised over $223,000 for Dove House in unrestricted funds, and we added $29,400 to that number this year. This takes us over a quarter of a million dollars in 13 years!
